Items you need to improve and protect your FCM or IB...

1.   Very important and useful forms and letters for different applications for the FCM and the Introducing Broker.  Visit our "forms" page.

The "Futures Site  -  Excellence Award" is to honor those Futures Industry Websites that project and present an informative, interesting and honest image.  Since compliance is our business, and fair dealing with the prospect and customer is one of our chief concerns, this award will be given to those sites that appear to strive to achieve that goal. 

We have received many email messages from beginners to trading who have asked us which sites we feel should be visited. They wish to open an account with people they can trust, and people they believe will assist with their trading instead of just telling them what to do.  Instead of calling every brokerage firm to find the representative they feel comfortable with, they have come to our "neutral" site to ask for help.

The items and conditions considered for the presentation of the award are listed below.

We welcome your suggestions for suitable sites that you feel are particularly helpful to you, or a site that is presented by the firm you trade with, if you consider them honest and fair.  Please make your nominations by email and the website will be visited and considered.  In your email, state specifically why you believe the site (and/or Company) should be given the award.  Unless you mention otherwise, the email that contains the award to the site will include the fact that their site was recommended by you, and why you recommended them.

Basis for consideration:

The Website must be informative.

• If the site is a link only site, then the amount of links and the presentation of the website is paramount.  Another consideration for this type of site is the amount of "broken" or out-dated links.

• If the site is an Introducing Broker, CTA, CPO, or FCM:  The esthetics of the pages, although helpful, are not the main concern.  Ease of navigation is important.  There must be properly posted disclaimers on the front page and any pages that offer suggested trading information.  A disclaimer on each page adds credibility.  The site must not be only trying to open accounts through its presentation, but must also offer assistance to the new and experienced trader.  The site may offer links to the regulatory agencies to assist the prospect in doing their due diligence on the firm before investing with that firm.  Other links to helpful sites will also be considered.

• A personal recommendation from a satisfied user of the site or firm carries the most weight in consideration for the Futures Site  -  Excellence Award.

• Other items may be added as the program takes shape, but the final decision of any award will be the sole responsibility of Investment Reference.  No explanation may be given as to the reason for granting or not granting an award, and any site that wins an award and does not properly post the award on their site may, at the discretion of Investment Reference, be removed from the list of honorees.
